JEZ LOWE - FRIDAY 19 JULY - ST EDITH HALL, KEMSING
"Once again, we were entertained by a songwriter of rare quality and a consummate performer with a healthy Geordie sense of humour. I'll certainly be back to see Jez Lowe again, and I'm sure that's true for all who were there." ~ Woodman Folk Club review. Jez Lowe sings traditional songs from the North East but with a difference, the difference being that he writes them all himself. A real favourite on the folk circuit, for the last thirty years, Jez has taken his songs of life in his native North East England to audiences across the world. He's a fine raconteur with a ready Geordie wit as well as a terrific singer-songwriter and you certainly don’t have to come from Gateshead or Newcastle to enjoy his work. More information...
